Wanted: Wenatchee Vacation Rental Investors


We continue to get lots of inquiries for Wenatchee vacation rentals. We are currently taking reservations for two units that will be available soon. These are new 3 bedroom, 2 bath condos in the Parkside Condo development in Wenatchee. Availibility for vacation rental purchases will be limited to maintain high demand for our investors.

Since single family housing (and other investment properties) in the Wenatchee area have skyrocketed in value, rent rates have not kept up in the long term rental market.

Although rent rates have increased, they have not increased fast enough to provide investors with positive cash flow (or even break even numbers). Unless an investor is going to put down a HUGE downpayment (with zero immediate return on investment), single family houses are now serious negative cash flow.

Our vacation rentals right now are generating a rental rate that is DOUBLE that of the standard long term rent rate. This is an option to seriously consider if you still want a safe real estate investment in the Wenatchee market area. You will not be competing with the masses because there is currently a big shortage of Wenatchee vacation rentals.

These spacious condos are conveniently located for all activities in and around Wenatchee and North Central Washington.

Prices start at $199,950 for a lower unit up to $209,950 for an upper level unit. The difference is that the upper units have vaulted ceilings and a bit better view (and slightly more square footage). For a vacation rental, however, a lower unit should be just fine.

Wenatchee Named as Top Spot for Vacation Rental Investments

Personally, I think condos make the perfect vacation rental investment property. They are easier to manage and maintain than a detached residence.

Wenatchee Vacation Rentals

Wenatchee Vacation Rentals Debut



Last week my business partner, Shelley, and I were awarded the listings at Parkside Condos in Wenatchee. Today we were given clearance by the City of Wenatchee to market these as vacation rentals. To the best of our knowledge these are the only condo vacation rentals in Wenatchee. I anticipate high demand for these vacation rentals, which are so conveniently located on the northern end of Wenatchee. This is a far superior alternative to the motel scene!

These will make excellent week-end and vacation homes for our clients. AND, we can rent them out when the owners are not using them. We will be working up some income and expense projections, but anticipate being able to rent these for between $125 - $150 per night. This will generate a significant income for the owners and offset the initial investment and monthly carrying costs of the units. Over time, I anticipate nice appreciation as well.

All units in this Parkside Condo complex are 3 bedroom (or 2 bedrooms and a den) and 2 baths. Here is a link to the full listing detail on the model unit for sale. This is an upper unit, listed at $209,950. Lower units are available for $199,950. I anticipate prices will go up in the Spring. These are an excellent alternative to the (much more expensive) options available in Leavenworth.

Want to come over this winter and ski at Mission Ridge or do some cross country skiing? Buy now and you can still take advantage of all our winter activities. Come summer there is a whole new set of recreational opportunities to enjoy!
